Malachite Tumbled Crystals
The name malachite comes from the Ancient Greek word “Malakos” meaning soft, which it certainly is! Its rich green shade is due to copper, allowing it to be a perfect stone for emotional healing. Malachite was one of the first ore stones used to refine copper, a task it still is used for in the modern era! It was used in Ancient Egypt as a pigment for paint and eyeshadow, but it is not recommended to use it for that now as it is not water safe.
