Aventurine Blue Tumbled Crystals
Aventurine was discovered in the 17th century and has been associated with luck and fortune ever since. Blue aventurine is a great stone for grappling with reality and will encourage you to always be the bigger person in a conflict. It also allows you to open yourself up to constructive criticism so you can continue to grow spiritually and emotionally as a human being. The name is derived from the Italian phrase “All’Avventura” which translates to “by chance.” It comes in many different colors, but the blue variety gets its hue from inclusions of copper, iron, nickel, and mica particles. Due to its microcrystalline structure it’s a wonderful stone for lapidary artists to carve and it’s often found as cabochons and statuettes.
